The first ingredient isn't water — it's collagen. Most collagen serums dilute a little collagen into a water base and list it near the bottom of the formula. This Korean serum from Sungboon Editor is 58% hydrolyzed collagen extract, and that is the base. The collagen is ultra-low molecular weight, under 300 Daltons, which is small enough to absorb rather than sit on the surface.
