Love this for double cleansing! Especially with makeup.

I have been trying several cleansing oils/balms in an attempt to find one that 1) takes off all my make up; 2) doesn’t break me out; and 3) doesn’t sting my eyes. I’ve used oil cleansers from Tatcha, DHC, and Pyunkang Yul and though they removed my makeup well I didn’t feel like my skin benefited from them. The DHC and Pyunkang Yul oil cleansers also stung my eyes and the latter continuously broke me out. I was recently using the Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm and while it removed makeup well and didn’t sting my eyes, it was breaking me out real bad. I think that I have finally found the one with the Banila Co cleansing balm. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars was because it was a little tough to get my mascara off the other day, but I think this was because I didn’t use the right amount. I have difficulty gauging how much is enough with oil cleansers. However, every time I use this to double cleanse, my skin is left feel incredibly soft, and clean. It also has a nice fresh scent that is so pleasant. Unlike the BOJ cleansing balm which felt waxy, this cleansing balm feels velvety smooth and applies as such as well. I had to run the BOJ cleansing balm between my hands to break it down and it still wouldn’t fully do so. I do not rub this cleaning balm between my hands and it applies so well with just one swipe on my face. I hope this continues to work in my favor.

takes the day off my face - oil, grime, dirt, sunscreen, sweat, waterproof makeup, etc. cannot go wrong with this balm cleanser, especially for my oily, acne prone skin!

I’m always hesitant to try new products because of how sensitive my skin is. But since this is designed for my skin type I gave it a try. I’ve been using it for over two weeks and IT’S AMAZING. Very easy to use, removes all makeup and no breakouts! My skin feels so soft and clean after each use. I’ll definitely repurchase in the future :)
