• Anemarrhena Asphodeloides Root Extract — HA Synthesis From Within — Anemarrhena is a Korean and Chinese medicinal herb (Bai Mu / wild onion root) whose steroidal saponin sarsasapogenin is the active compound in the Volufiline™ technology (Sederma); it stimulates fibroblasts to synthesize new hyaluronic acid endogenously — building HA within skin's own cells rather than simply applying it topically; this creates a plumping effect that is more durable than surface-level HA, as it restores the HA-producing capacity of the dermis itself
